Hello All,
My client is an established yet up and coming market research and
econometric consultancy. A market leader in its field with a global
presence and a multi-billion annual turnover yet still managing to be
voted by its employees as one of the warmest places to work. This is a
great place for an Econometrician / statistician / marketing analyst to
build their professional statistical career
As a result of winning a seemingly ever growing list of major projects
requiring the benefit of conjoint analysis you will be required to take
the lead in such projects at the same time as disseminating the knowledge
of this technique throughout the business. This represents a real career
opportunity for a statistical professional with the right ambitions as you
will be getting early exposure to team management together with high
profile client contact at a senior / director level within client
companies. The important work you will be doing for clients – as in using
statistical and econometric analysis to aid their product and brand
development decisions will no doubt get you noticed in the right quarters.
This is a job for someone who wants a good balance between being hands-on
with statistical / econometric analysis, being able to dip their toe in
the management water whilst at the same time using their strong
interpersonal skills to get involved in client development.
Naturally you’ll have a statistically based degree such as Statistics,
Econometrics, Economics, Operational Research, Applied Statistics, etc
coupled with 2-3 years quantitative experience ideally gained within a
market research / marketing analytics environment. To this you will bring
your enthusiasm for producing meaningful insight into client marketing
investment decisions and your relish for being an integral part of a hard-
working, play harder team.
As a conjoint Analyst / Econometrician you will be working with a variety
of statistical software packages and techniques such as SAS. Eviews,
Stata, S+, Splus, Statistica, SPSS, Mathematica, Maximum likelihood
regression – probit / logit, Discrete choice modeling, Hierarchical Bayes,
Regression Modelling, Cluster analysis, Time Series etc
