> We are looking for a Research Officer to join our statistical team within the Research Division to work on a range of projects relating to assessment and examinations. The Division> '> s brief includes monitoring the quality and standards of Cambridge Assessment> '> s qualifications; developing strategies for effective evaluation and validation; improving assessment processes; and evaluating new developments such as applications of new technologies in large scale assessment.

> Educated to a relevant first degree and/or postgraduate qualification or equivalent, you will have strong quantitative skills and experience of research, data analysis and report writing. You should be interested in applying statistical and psychometric methods in test development, calibration and equating, and in evaluating and monitoring assessment processes and innovations. Prior experience of educational research, assessment or teaching would all be valued.
