Hi Kris,
Do you know about the unpublished FRU reports on various sites in Saxon Southampton? They are in the LAZOR library at Southampton, as part of the series of bound volumes of unpublished (and published) reports.
It might also be worth scanning the box files in the library, and also the files of the Centre for Human Ecology and Environment (currently in the Bird Lab) and those of CHEE's successor, the CAAA. The latter are currently in store, I believe. To quote anything from these, you would need to get permissions.
Good luck!

Subject: [ZOOARCH] Saxon bone reports
Dear all,
I am currently searching through grey literature for zooarchaeological data from Saxon-period England. If anyone has any unpublished data from this period, and would be happy to share it with me, I would very much appreciate it. All help would of course be duly acknowledged.
Many thanks,
Kris
