I may be able to help with personal copies of some of below (as marked) if no-one else volunteers, but I am caught up for next 3 weeks or so.

Subject: WANTED: Maps of Europe GSGS 4072 and others
Dear all,
Members of this list have given a lot of help to the GB Historical GIS team
at Portsmouth, including lending us maps from the Land Utilisation Survey of
GB. They are now all on-line in our Vision of Britain through Time web site.
As well as our JISC funding to work on Parliamentary Constituencies, and
related activities, we have some EU funding under the QVIZ project
(www.qviz.eu) to make a start on the rest of Europe. In particular, we have
decided to create a complete set of geo-referenced scans of the 1:500,000
maps of Europe (map series GSGS 4072).
Back in March of this year I placed a request on this mailing list to borrow
maps from the GSGS 4072 series. The University of Liverpool kindly supplied
us with the majority of the GSGS 4072 maps, which we have now scanned and
geo-referenced. Unfortunately, there are a few sheets missing or damaged and
we would like to fill in the gaps. The sheets from GSGS 4072 that we would
like to borrow are:
Cartagena (missing)
Bolzano (missing)
Graz (missing)
Paris (damaged) - MAY HAVE COPY
Brest (damaged) - MAY HAVE COPY
Frankfurt (damaged)
We would also like to borrow the following maps from the map series
associated with GSGS 4072:
Iceland (GSGS 4140) - One sheet - HAVE COPY
GB and Ireland (GSGS 4369) - Unknown number of sheets - HAVE INCOMPLETE COVER
Lastly, we are looking to borrow complete sets of the smaller scale map
series covering Europe, which were also published by the War Office circa
1940. I believe there are two sets of these maps, one at 1:2,000,000 scale
and another at 1:5,000,000 scale.
If anyone has any of these sheets and is willing to lend them to us, we
would be very grateful. We are obviously happy to pay any costs incurred.
Best Regards,
John Westwood
