Probably too late for the original inquirer, but I've just posted on my
Hitchcock Scholars website the culminating entry of several on FRENZY
(October 6, 13, 20) - referring to the stilled frame at the moment of
Brenda Blaney's death, a close-up of her eyes. I relate this to a
'reflexive' motif in the film (and how it effectively reverses the start
of VERTIGO).
The page in question is here:

Incidentally, near the top of the same page, in red, is an invitation to
film professionals (and articulate others!) to join an 'advanced'
Hitchcock discussion group, formed a week or so ago. It is moderated by
yours truly and my friend Prof. Tony Williams; the other members so far
include several Australian PhDs or PhD candidates, and with at least one
noted author of a book on Hitchcock promising to sign up in the next few
days.
Thanks - Ken M (Ed., 'The MacGuffin')
