I personally found it much easier to use the online system rather than
SRFs.
Results were keyed in by administrative staff, & then signed off by
academic personnel, so all results that were entered were double
checked.
Edexcel Online was well behaved & didn't crash during the process, which
meant that the entire turnaround period between inputting the results &
receiving the certificates was greatly decreased. While we are
ultimately planning to migrate to EDI, online reporting was certainly an
adequate subsitute for the mean time.

Subject: On-line Edexcel SRFs
Can anyone please comment on their experience(s) when moving from
paper-based to on-line SRFs. eg who are responsible for keying in the
on-line results - tutors or administration personnel, etc?
Any comments would be very welcome
