This is weird. This goes to show how we have to sceptical about most of the studies carried out. It is really important to analyse the source of information and the terminology used before considering the usefulness of results.

Dear all,
I am currently experiencing some difficulties with Habinteg Housing Association. Among the many things that have recently happened, one bizarre moment occurred which I'd like to share with you.
I was given an envelope on Monday, by a lady I didn't recognise. I opened it to find a survey, headed with the Habinteg logo, entitled 'An Independent and Confidential Survey of Tenants ... '. I was confused.
The lady was still around, putting envelopes through my neighbours' doors. I asked her if she could tell me where this had come from - who had sent this to me?
She replied 'Habinteg'.
I said 'but it says it's an independent survey!'
She replied 'Yes, that's right! We send you the survey, and you independently fill it in and send it back to us.'
Yours, in shock and bewilderment at the research skills of others,
Lizzie Walker
