Disability Rights and Social Participation:
Ensuring a Society for All
The call for abstract and early registration is now available. Take advantage of reduced rates!
We are pleased to invite you to make a difference by proposing a presentation under the overall World Congress vision: "Disability Rights and Social Participation: Ensuring a Society for All." Our theme showcases the new United Nations (UN) Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, which provides the framework for the development of good policies, actions and projects to drastically improve the living conditions of hundreds of millions of people worldwide with disabilities. We hope that you will join us in celebrating the Convention, and participating by submitting a proposal by October 31, 2007.
The RI-Québec 2008 World Congress also presents an exciting opportunity to connect to more than 1,500 of your global peers (experts, researchers, disability rights advocates, government representatives, service providers, civil society leaders) during three days of an extensive program, events and sightseeing tours of beautiful Québec City. It is a chance to meet exhibitors from around the world showcasing their brand new products and services.
Special discounted hotel rooms are also available for RI-Québec 2008 attendees and their partners.
The RI network, consisting of more than 700 organizations in approximately 100 countries, is a catalyst for developing innovative approaches and providing solutions. Our mission is to promote social change, inclusion and rights of people with disabilities.
