This course takes place over one and half days. If more than 6 people book on to this event the group will be split into 2 for the second part of the course and asked to attend either a morning or afternoon session. The second part of the course will take place on the 21/11/2007 in the Library Seminar Room, Aytoun Library, MMU, Manchester.
Library staff are required to give presentations in a number of contexts, e.g. to users, to colleagues or at meetings. This practical course will help develop knowledge and techniques for delivering successful presentations. The course will be relevant to staff at all levels and will include the opportunity to deliver a short presentation in a supportive environment.
By the end of this course you will be able to:
Outline the key elements of successful presentations
Identify strategies which contribute to successful presentations
Plan, design and deliver a presentation
