I don't think that anyone has mentioned horses yet. Just a small sample:
Chariot burials are found from western Europe to China during the Bronze
and Iron Ages. Riding horse burials are especially characteristic of
the Scytho-Siberian cultures, but found in others as well during the
Iron Age and later.
Horse bones are also found in Chalcolithic and Eneolithic burials as far
apart as Spain and Kazakhstan - probably from wild horses, but who
knows? Not to mention Palaeolithic rock art etc.
