'Case Studies as a Biological Research Process' by John Langrish in Design
Studies October 1993.
Biology is a science but its quite different from physics. Case studies
cannot produce 'valid' results. Validity is associated with physics type
statistics. Case studies in biology have to be credible not valid. If you can convince
an examiner that you have 'found something out' then your results are
'credible' i.e. believable.
