medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
King Solomon features prominently in folklore from the "other middle ages
(Muslim, Arab, Amazight, Persian, etc.)" Solomon was responsible for bottling
the genies in case you did not know why bottles sometime wash up on the beach
with genies in them. Pedro Alfonso AKA Petrus Alfonsi et al brought some Arab
folklore to Europe and translated it into Latin. Thus there is Solomonic
material that is likely to be very difficult to track down.
