It was Jeremiah. The sculptor, Claus Sluter, and the artist who polychromed the ensemble,
Jean Malouel (uncle of the famous Limbourg brothers), commissioned the glasses from a
Dijon goldsmith. Apparently, the patron, Philip the Bold, is also known to have used
eyeglasses.
