Apologies for cross-posting
Dear Colleagues,
The University of Oxford is currently advertising for A Systematic
Reviewer in Clinical Monitoring.
An experienced applied researcher is required to develop and lead a
number of projects in monitoring test evaluation. The Department has
recently received HTA funding for a program of research into the value
of clinical monitoring in areas such as diabetes, cardiovascular
disease, anticoagulation, thyroid disease, and other chronic diseases
where monitoring is an important component of management. As part of
this project we are interested in reviewing the current state of
research in each of these areas. You will be expected to undertake,
supervise, and coordinate systematic
reviews of monitoring test accuracy and impact. This will involve
ensuring the quality of data collected for the study, liaising with
other researchers and organisations, and participating in the analysis
and report writing for the program. Involvement in other activities of
the Department will also be encouraged. You should possess a degree in a
health care discipline and an MPH or equivalent with a particular
knowledge of systematic reviews and diagnostic test evaluation. You
should have experience in research coordination or management, and in
writing grants and reports for
publication.
This is a five year fixed term, full-time appointment (part-time is
negotiable) at Academic Related Grade 8 which may be renewed subject to
funding.
Further written information, which will contain details of the
application procedure, is available from Ryan Giannone (01865 289288) or
