You have all have read and seen the stories within the media today about how
the elderly (older-generation) within our communities are experienceing
abuse within 'institutions' and within their 'communities'.
I will put is to DAN and the wider disability, inclusive/independent,
'survivors'movements that this 'Dignity and Respect' campaign should also
include ALL disabled people too and 'we' need to inform the Government of
this.
One of the 'core' conditions of 'humanity' is meeting the basic human needs.
'Respect and Dignity' is one of these basic human needs as a basic human
right.
We all know that many disabled people, I myself, too, as many of you have
read many of my own personal stories, that,
'institutionalised-abuse/Disablism' viciously eats-away the 'heart-and-soul'
of disabled people here in the UK and global world too.
I will put it to Ivan Lewis, MP and all other MP's that any 'Respect and
Dignity' campaign shouldn't 'exclude' the forgotten Disabled Peoples' voices
and ULO's who's basic human rights and civil liberities are being trampelled
upon on daily basis by all these public bodies and the Judiciary(the
Courts).
There behaviour and attitudes towards All Disabled People is 'Does he Take
Sugar' and any empowered disabled people are just totally infringed and
stripped-away of all their basic human rights and civil liberities when they
try to 'speak-out', as I and many of other disabled people within the
movements have experienced within our personal lifes'.
I will put it to the Government why is it that the Judiciary are 'excluded'
from 'Disability Equality Duty Act' ? This can't be compatible with the
Human Rights Act and ECHR? What does this say about 'Respect and Dignity' of
Alll Disabled People, if our basic human rights are not protected within the
Judiciary?
When 'we' 'speak-out' 'together' and/or 'alone', then our 'behaviour' is
unlawfully 'criminalised'....
What does this say about 'Respect and Dignity' of all Disabled People, if
then 'we' have to live in constant 'FEAR' and threatend with 'PRISON',
'MENTAL INSTITUTIONS' for 'speaking-out' in asserting our basic human
rights.
What does this say about the 'Respect and Dignity' in protecting our basic
human rights within a so-called western democracy???
