Dear Allstat
SEC seek a talented Biostatistician professional to apply their
expertise on early phase clinical trial development for our client, one
of the industries largest early phase drug development organisations.
Full details of client and location are available on application or by
calling Alan Brophy on 0207 255 66 00. All communications are in the
strictest confidence.
**This opportunity will ideally suit a professional with lead
Statistician experience within the CRO or pharma industry. However our
client will consider less experienced candidates who show good
development potential or Medical Statisticians from an academic
background who have experience of SAS for the analysis and reporting of
clinical trial data.**
Core responsibilities for this role will be to write detailed
statistical analysis plans for clinical trials and produce integrated
summaries of efficacy and safety. Liaising with Data Managers, Medical
Writers and the Research Director, you will also have responsibility for
the analysis of clinical trial data and the production of statistical
tables, figures and listings as well as generating ad-hoc reports for
clients.
In addition to a PhD/MSc in Statistics, we are looking for knowledge of
SAS programming and ideally, demonstrable
experience within a CRO/pharma in leading the design, analysis and
reporting of clinical trials. You should be a self starter, well
organised and have the ability to communicate statistical information to
non-statistical colleagues.
This is a great opportunity to work in an academic setting but for an
independent CRO, giving you access to leading consultants and for
developing your career in a challenging but supportive environment.
