The only consistent set of surveys which covered the health of men (and
women) in both developing and industrialised countries were the 2003
World Health Surveys. Have a look at the published results for each
country at
http://www.who.int/healthinfo/survey/whsresults/en/index.html
Income quintile is one of the standard cross-breaks for all the tables -
however the income will be for the household rather than just men's
income.
You should note that the surveys were all relatively small and WHO seems
rather reluctant to part with the raw data files.
