Message for Peter King,
Some time ago I wrote to the list that I was researching to write a book on
the history of our small village, It involves the making of glass as far
back as 1625, the main clay for the Glass making pots or buckets were of
high quality clay only got from the Stourbridge area or the isle of white,
it is widely thought that the clay actually came from Stourbridge.
We found a piece of the actual pot and then a piece more a few days later,
this was identified by Colin Brain, a well known glass enthusiast.
If Peter would like to get in touch with me I can tell him the rest we know
of the glass foundry, lost until now.
