medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
Doctissimi,
Can someone help me with a piece of vocabulary? This comes from a sermon
dating to about 1330, and the word appears three times, and always in the
context of lasciviousness
so:
In lascivie scenositate
lascivie scenositatem (twice)
Can anyone give me a definition? I feel as if I'm missing the obvious....
Thank you in advance,
cecilia gaposchkin
