medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
My dig was not at Durham, which is a wonderful university, but just a
personal note of disappointment that my niece managed to spend 3 years under
the Norman cathedral and castle without having her appetite whetted for
things medieval. (I was writing about Durham University, UK, not Duke
University, Durham, in case I have offended any friends in North Carolina).
I am sure it demonstrates my narrowness in hoping that she would love what I
do. But she had a wonderful time, academically and socially (her thing was
rowing).
My apologies again that a private message to John Dillon appeared on the
list.
