Dear colleagues,
Recently someone asked whether the CLAB database on cases concerning
consumer law was still available. While that has now apparently been
withdrawn, a replacement service has now appeared at
http://www.eu-consumer-law.org/index.html
to support the Green Paper on the Review of the Consumer Acquis
It provides the text of eight consumer law directives, their transposition
into the laws of 25 EU Member States, and also includes case-law,
bibliography and a comparative study.
The Commission is asking for views on aspects of consumer law, starting
with package travel and has started a consultation process - see
http://ec.europa.eu/consumers/cons_int/safe_shop/pack_trav/index_en.htm
Best wishes
Patrick Overy
