Hi all!
I?m currently working on a collection from Cuba (RC dated to about 400
AD) that contains a ton of Capromyidae bones and am trying to identify
them to species level. We are certain we have two species, but
unfortunately our comparative collections have only one species of
Cuban Hutia. Does anybody have any advice on identifying the species
more specifically (we?ve heard teeth are good for this)? I can get
some pictures together of whatever is needed if anybody has experience
with this!
Thanks in advance!
Best,
Elizabeth
