"Yes it does". "Socialism is not ...." "Socialism is ...." "Fascism is
...." "No it is not ..." "Lind is the major authority . . "
Assertion and counter assertion. Not very informative. Lists are not
very good places to discuss beliefs. Intelligent discussion needs evidence
and rationality.
In the last example Lind is cited as "the major authority" on political
correctness. If we look at the reference given it refers to a speech 'The
Origins of Political Correctness' that is labelled as an 'An Accuracy in
Academia Address'. We are told that "Variations of this speech have been
delivered to various AIA conferences including the 2000 Consevative
University at American University".
So it appears that Lind gets academic credibility by talking to a section of
the academic community. That section labelled 'Accuracy in Acedemia' is
presumably selected for its sympathy with Lind's ideas.
Lind appears as an antagonist rather than an authority on political
correctness. Bear in mind that the evidence put forward gives a meaning to
political correctness that is defined by its antagonists.
So in this case at least the assertion made is not supported by evidence.
Is this true of the other assertions and counter assertions made by Martin
Sewell?

Yes it does.

In Marxist theory, socialism is the transitional social state between
the overthrow of capitalism and the realization of
Communism. Incidentally, fascism is a derivative of Marxism.

No it is not, Lind is the major authority on the history of political
correctness.
