Copying in the British Library Rare Books and Music Reading Room
On 20 July, the British Library Rare Books Reference Service will hold
their second Reader Awareness Session. The focus of July's training is how
to obtain copies of early printed and music materials in the British
Library's collections. It will include:
-An overview of the different services offered, including remote copying
services, which do not require a reader's pass or visit to the library.
-How to locate and order printed, digital and microform facsimiles to use
for self-service copying in the reading room.
-Details of how to take part in the digital camera pilot, which is in
operation until the beginning of September.
The session will begin at 2.30pm and last for about an hour.
