medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
Not entirely surprisingly, numerous baptisteries in Italy have been named after J. Herewith a brief look at some these in rough chronological order.
Napoli (NA), Campania, Battistero di San Giovanni in Fonte (4th-cent.):

Ravenna (RV), Emilia-Romagna, Battistero di San Giovanni in Fonte (Neonian Baptistery; Orthodox Baptistery; late 4th-/early 5th-cent.):

Roma (RM), Lazio, Battistero di San Giovanni in Fonte (Lateran Baptistery; 5th-cent.):

NB: The first of these two sites (chosen for their visuals) adheres to the passé views that this structure was built by Constantine and that it was "the first Christian baptistery ever built". As the other site notes, it's now thought much more likely that the Lateran Baptistery was built by Sixtus III in the fifth century.

And, so as not to appear totally parochial in this selection, herewith some views, from Koper in Slovenia, of its originally tenth(?)/ twelfth(?)-century Rotunda/Krstilnica Janeza Krstnika (also called, because it later served as a Carmelite chapel, the Rotunda Carmine).
