On Thursday, June 28, 2007, at 11:53 pm, I wrote, apropos Gero of Köln's miraculous repair of his crucifix:

It was late at night and, though suspicious, I merely copied the painting's date and physical context from the caption beneath it here:

But eleventh-century is far too early for that painting. And it's pretty obviously a mural painting, not part of an altarpiece. According to the cathedral's own site, it's from the later thirteenth century and was heavily overpainted in the nineteenth:
