We are researching the representation of older women in popular
films. In Mrs. Henderson Presents, there is a scene where Mrs. H is
deposited on a wardrobe by Van Dam and told to behave. Sherman has
said that his script was influenced by Hepburn/Tracy relationship. I
seem to remember that there is a similar scene in one of their films
but cannot recall which and whether the woman was as infantalised as
Mrs. H. is in this film. Can anyone help?
