I don't have an answer to this question at present, but you may find a
partial answer to the problem of using the PHI CDRom on OSX in the
Digitalclassicist Wiki at
http://wiki.digitalclassicist.org/Search_the_TLG_and_PHI_databases
(If anyone has suggestions on this matter other than Diogenes or a
HyperCard emulator, please share them.)
