The Science Learning Centres provide training specifically for those wanting
to do science communication work with teachers and students in schools and
colleges.
I'm happy to provide further information.
Best wishes

Subject: Re: [PSCI-COM] Crash Course in Science Communication
Dear all,
Just wanted to add that we offer a range of science communication training
courses, aimed at research scientists who want to get involved in outreach
activities or just improve their communication skills.
Our courses are tailored to the needs of each individual client and are
developed by science journalists who also have experience as research-
active scientists.
We have been delivering our courses to a range of institutions for several
years and it would be great to hear from anyone who is doing something
similar or wants to exchange experiences about developing courses etc.
More details are available on our website: www.sciconnect.co.uk --
alternatively, please feel free to email me at

Many thanks,
