I agree with all of your post Andrew. And despite some of her tone, I'm
sorry to see Alison go. But, we come & go it seems, so we'll see. I
enjoyed the whole wandering conversation, but it's true I have the time
to read now...
Well, recently I've just been reviewing (at very short length) a bunch
of Canadian poetry, but maybe I can adapt a few of books I really liked
for here; I'll see. They are for the Canadian Book Review Annual, so I
can't just post them as is.
Right now I've got to get ready to go hear a lecture named after Anne
Szumigalski, a Saskatchewan poet, at the League Of Canadian Poets
meeting being held here in town. Yesterday I was on a panel about
collaboration & technology, talking about e-mail collaborative poetry,
ie, with Sheila E Murphy. It was fun. But the other two panelists were
certainly far more technologically sophisticated than I am; so I now
would love to collaborate with some computer artists. for sure. just
have to find one & have an idea....
Still, I'd love to read other's 'reviews' of recent poetry.
