This was indeed a very innovative book at the time, based in part on the PRINCE simulation developed by Coplin. Same generation as Project TEMPER, INS, CASCON, and others like it. The next generation produced GLOBUS, SIMPEST, IFS, and FUJI, all of them pre-agent-based computational models.
