I think so. It is not a usual requirement for these thingos. Seems a tiny
bit um .. provincial.
I suppose as an ex pres AND an ex tenant - you must have been a little tiny
baby - you are still a member.
I wasn't first choice for Bogliasco either - but NOvember in the north of
Italy is cold - so in a day or two first choice chickened out.
Near Genoa, at the Ligurian Study Centre. Got friends there, am missing
Italy - got a tiny bit of disposable income - thought wot the hell and
applied.
Near Rapallo which is famous Ezra Pound (and Yeats) territory.
You found a rhyme for Bogliasco, well done.
Now find a rhyme for Camogli which I really want to visit. (Means House of
Wives, fishing village, no men there most of the time. Or dead. I told an
Italian friend it should be House of Widows - but he said that was too
unsubtle.)
It will be odd to go back to that house. House of Memories. House of the
Past.
cheers - jen

Really! That's rough. I'm an ex-president and an ex-tenant of the
house - 36 years ago! I wasn't their first choice, but whoever it was
has since found somewhere else to go, I think.
Where's Bogliasco? Anywhere near Tobasco? >g<
