A curious topic...
You might want to look at films featuring resuscitation scenes.
Scenes with post-orgasmic heavy breathing, e.g. in Altman's The Player.
The Abyss (James Cameron, 1989) (the reanimation scene).
Coma (1978) has several relevant scenes, particularly at the
denouement, when the heroine comes to, coughing, after the would-be
fatal operation.
Total Recall, with the notorious Schwarzenegger line, 'Give these
people air'.
The Dustin Hoffman character quitting his run out of breath in
Marathon Man.
Citizen Kane, the protagonist's last breath, whispering 'Rosebud'.
The astronauts' outer-space breathing in 2001.
