An epidemiologist is required to join a multi-disciplinary team conducting world-leading research into the molecular and genetic causes of heart attacks.
Candidates should possess a relevant first or postgraduate degree in epidemiology, medical statistics or a closely-related discipline and relevant experience. The main focus is on evaluating and analysing novel risk factors in large-scale studies. The appointment will be to 6/6/2008 initially with the possibility of an extension depending upon funding on the Research Assistant grade salary scale £21,050 to £23,692 per annum according to qualifications and experience.
