As part of our work on the JISC-funded Historic Boundaries of Britain
project, the Great Britain Historical GIS needs to scan a substantial
number of maps which are currently folded and bound into large books
which are in very poor condition; some of the maps are torn on the folds.
We need a contractor to prepare the maps for scanning, by separating
them, unfolding them and mounting them on more permanent backing sheets.
We have already located one possible contractor, but need competitive
quotes. Can anyone recommend someone who can do this work?
Best wishes,
Humphrey Southall
