Hello everybody,
Following the recent discussions of wicked problems, and several calls
for somebody to do something about it, Fil Salustri and I have launched
a wikispace dedicated to compiling materials and thinking developing
from Horst Rittel's wicked problem theory.
If you are not familiar with wikis, they are websites that can be edited
and compiled by their users, wikipedia being the best known example.
They provide an opportunity for a community to build up an organised (or
disorganised) knowledge resource. This one uses the wikispaces
environment which makes it very easy to edit and develop new pages.
This wiki is open to any member of the design research community, to
edit or create pages you need to sign up and request membership which
might take a day or so if there is nobody on hand to approve your
request. I'd be interested to hear from anybody who would like to help
with moderating this.
So please have a look and bookmark it at
http://wickedproblems.designinquiry.wikispaces.net/
best regards
Chris
