How to find the Victoria Rooms:
1) From Bristol Temple Meads station, catch the number 8 bus (it's the
only bus that goes from the station, so there's no danger of catching the
wrong one) and ask for the Victoria Rooms. It will cost about GBP1.20. The
journey takes about 10-15 minutes and goes through town, up a steep road
past the Cathedral and shops, then forks left to turn left again, at which
point you should see the Victoria Rooms ahead - a large colonnaded
building with a roundabout in front. This is where you get off. We don't
recommend taking a taxi, as it'll cost about GBP8.
2) For those arriving by air, take the shuttle from outside Bristol
airport to Temple Meads (get a return for GBP7), and then catch the no.
8 bus. For anyone arriving at Heathrow, catch the coach shuttle straight
to Temple Meads; this is quicker and a lot cheaper than travelling into
