medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
Colleagues,
There is currently an exhibition of Carolingian art at the Bibliotheque Nationale in Paris, for
which a stunning website has been created. It not only provides high quality images of a
selection of illuminations, but there are three manuscripts -- the Gellone Sacramentary, a
Prudentius manuscript and the Drogo Sacramentary -- that one can turn the pages of, as on
the British Library website, but with all sorts of additional interactive possibilities. There are
other audio-visual treats, as well. Have fun!
Cheers,
Jim Bugslag
