****Apologies for cross posting******************
The West Country Division of the Career Development Group is holding their AGM on Wednesday 23rd May at 7pm.
There is no charge to attend the AGM, and all Career Development Group members are welcome.
The venue is Osborne Clarke, 2 Temple Back East, Temple Quay, Bristol BS1 6EG, and is adjacent to Temple Meads station where there is car parking. For directions, visit http://www.osborneclarke.com/our_offices/uk/bristol/default.asp
The AGM will be followed by a Fun Quiz with rounds on a range of topics including music, sport and current affairs. There is an entrance fee of £4 per person which includes a buffet. Each team will be a maximum of 4 people so either bring your own team or just turn up and we'll create teams on the night. Prizes will be awarded to the winning team and the runners up. Please bring friends, family and colleagues.
We will break for the buffet midway through the quiz. Drink (other than water!) won't be provided so please bring your own - including alcohol.
The funds raised from the evening will support the Career Development Group's work with VSO librarians in developing countries. We are currently supporting Sheila Rudd who has just started her placement in Tanzania where she will be developing a library at Katoke Teacher Training College.
If you are interested in coming along to what should be a fun evening please email Jon Scown ([log in to unmask]) or 'phone 01278 451201 so we have an idea of numbers.
