medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
I don't know: at my alma mater back in the early 90s, a schedule of upcoming
films to be shown at the student union included a synopsis of The Lion in
Winter which read something like "The story of Henry V and Katherine of
Aragorn..." Note the spellings. I don't know that I've ever seen a statement
so jam-packed with false historical statements. It manages to conflate three
Henries, as well as our own world and Middle Earth, not to mention Valois
and Hepburn.
