Rossellini's Pascal not only involves philosophy but is a great film.
Also the Last Days of Socrates. Never have seen Descartes. If set theory
fits into your definition of philosophy give Hollis Frampton's Zorn's
Lemma, also a truly great film, a try. That can be seen online on
UbuWeb. Alphaville filters Descartes through pulp fiction (the genre not
the movie).
