Notes to Editors
London Book Fair
The London Book Fair 2007 is back in central London in a new venue, Earls Court. This versatile exhibition hall built in 1937 is split over two levels of exhibition stands with a mezzanine level for events, seminar rooms and a restaurant. Its two entrances are situated on Brompton Road and Warwick Road conveniently served by the District and Piccadilly underground lines. It has a wide variety of permanent catering outlets and this year the organisers are introducing dedicated IRC catering, a separate restaurant for everyone's use and tapas bar as well as some additional seating areas for those who want to take some time out. The facilities for cloakrooms, information points and lavatories at Earls Court are extensive. Our floor design incorporates wider aisles than previously and more prominent signage to ensure easier and quicker navigation around the fair. Earls Court is a venue that is well used to hosting a number of large events, including the Ideal Home Show and the Brit Awards, and is practised at delivering catering and other services for substantial numbers.
