The University of Newcastle in Australia has compulsory use of Turnitin
for all written assignments, however, students must be able to view
their originality reports and make corrections prior to final submission
on the assignment. In my school, we use the overwrite function so
students may submit as many times as they wish prior to submission - the
only catch is that they have to wait between 24 and 48 hours for the
report to generate. This deters those wanting to beat the system.
