Unfortunately the most recent instance was now more than ten years ago and the
earlier one about 30 years ago. (I'm an old man.) The boy 'Sean' 10 years ago
was then in first grade, 'hard of hearing,' and very bright. He showed me how
tall Jesus was--about 4-5 feet and said that he wispered in his ear. I do not
recall his relating any details of what Jesus said. The boy 'Angel' 30 years
ago was 11, quite deaf, and told me what happened using American Sign Language.
I do not recall more details except that Angel was very creative dramatically
and artistically. Presumably Jesus would have spoken to him in sign language as
he could neither hear nor read lips. Both were from practicing, or one might
even say devout, Roman Catholic families. Angel had, either before this or
after, drawn several pictures 'improving' on the gore of the crucifix. This is
about all I trust my memory for at this point.
