Title: Measuring Library Performance and Organisational Effectiveness: From
Research to Practice
When/where: 13th - 16th August 2007, Spier Hotel and Conference Centre,
between Cape Town and Stellenbosch, South Africa
Following 6 highly successful previous conferences since 1995, the
Information, Knowledge and Systems Research Group in the School of
Computing, Engineering and Information Sciences at Northumbria University is
pleased to announce its seventh conference in 2007 - for the first time it
will be held in the African Continent.
Keynote speakers include: Professor Saleem Badat, Vice Chancellor of Rhodes
University in South Africa and previously the Chief Executive Officer of the
South African Council on Higher Education. Also Simon Ellis, UNESCO
Institute for Statistics.
