Hello everyone
A question about "competency-based" education...
The ACGME competencies are more and more being used to
define and guide medical education in the USA, and
I've heard that internationally there is more and more
effort as well to focus on "competency" based
education as well.
What I am wondering is if anyone out there has been
working at a more international level to define
"competencies?" or are the ACGME competencies so far
the main set of competencies being used to guide this
line of thinking?
Any thoughts or reactions would be appreciated.
Thanks!
