Dear Barbara,
There are various ways of tracing how ECJ judgments have
been cited in later cases, using both Eur-Lex and Curia.
On Curia http://curia.europa.eu/
the easiest way is to enter the name of the case (if it is
well-known and easily referenced like Factortame) in words
in the text and this will produce a list of cases which
mention that case in the judgment.
A more precise way of searching on Eur-Lex is to find the
Celex number of a case (Factortame, which is C-221/89,
translates as 61989J0221) and enter this in Simple search
under Celex number. This should find all mentions of that
judgment in other documents.
Best wishes
Patrick Overy
