Readership or Professorship, Department of Music
Applications are invited for a Readership or Professorship in Music,
specialising in one or more areas of historical or analytical musicology and
tenable from 1st September 2007 or as soon as possible thereafter. The
successful candidate will have a proven record of academic achievement in
research, publication and teaching, and will be expected to play a full part
in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and supervision (including a
contribution to the core historical curriculum), to engage in research,
publication and other research-related activities and to participate fully
in the administration of the Department.
Readership: £35,933 p.a. to £48,211 p.a. inclusive of London Allowance.*
Professorial minimum: £50,296 p.a. inclusive of London Allowance.*
