IIRC Master Peter Abelard dedicated his original "Oratory" near Troyes
to the Holy Trinity in c. 1122 ( a pretty challenging thing to do seeing he
had been accused of heretical doctrines about the HT at Soissons in 1121)
although this was not as provocative as his renaming the Foundation 'The
Paraclete' a year or so later which *was* unusual to say the least, and very
provocative.
