Dear Colleagues
Some years ago I remember being shown an "Information and blood tube"
pack for SCBU etc. for sick infants, ? inborn error, hypoglycaemia,
acidosis etc. It was for use by junior doctors and lab staff especially
"on call" when requesting tests, collecting samples and lab processing.
It had a list of which tests to do on what tube, which to separate and
freeze promptly etc - a really useful thing.
It was developed by a UK Registrar or Chemical Pathologist but I have
forgotten who - sorry.
Does anybody remember this or have something similar they could send me
?
Thanks
Paul
